Research: Conducting and guiding research work in their specialty to advance medical knowledge. 

Education: Imparting theoretical and practical instructions to medical students. 

Management: Managing medical emergencies, ensuring prompt responses, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals. 

Record keeping: Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality of health information. 

Policy and procedure development: Participating in the development and implementation of health and safety policies.
